School of Pharmacy Lab
The St. John’s University School of Pharmacy required a new dual purpose lab for the Fall semester of 2011 to support an increase in enrollment for the pharmacy program.
An existing teaching lab was converted within a 3-month window to satisfy the following objectives: Multi-function, support 24 students, provide bench space for Bio Chemistry, provide 11 fume hoods for Organic Chemistry. Create a secure space for an instrument room
The installation included new roof mounted AC unit and fume hood exhaust, HVAC and welded ductwork risers, new electrical distribution, acid waste piping, casework, fume-hoods, new flooring, lighting, compressed air, vacuum, gas, water, sinks and new A/V system.
